View Full Version : Help!!!!!
I inherited a computer from my Sister about 6 months ago. Never had a problem logging on. Win XP Pro. Windows login screen.
2 weeks ago I moved my 2 computers to a different room. Now I can't log onto that one. CD drive does not work either but it has been down for a while so I can't use a recovery CD.(And its a Dell that they use a laptop CDRom in to save space so it isn't cheap to replace)
No floppy installed in PC.
My question is this:
HOW THE HELL DO I GET AROUND THE PASSWORD?
Is it even possible or am I http://www.smilies-and-more.de/pics/smilies/obscene/001.gif SCREWED?
Thanks,
Hag.

Theres a copy of BartPE Bootable XP for usb, but I havent tried it. The BartPE cd allows you to remove passwords and such...

I can upload it if you can use it.
Thaks Wilmero but According to what I just read you need a CD Drive to use it.

Yes, you need a cd drive to "make" one, but I have one already made. I have not tried it but a few friends have.

Here is the Instructions..
Can someone translate this?
Start LiveXP.bat
1.Change source path
2.Change target path
3.List or format volumes
4.Create delete partitions
q.quit
C:Documents and settings/lelijkerd/mijn documenten/downloads/alt.bin.comp/livexp/installdir..
