Prepared this for my SV-HD8000, but it should be a csv common file. Full names for SD&HD channels on 82,91,110,119,129. It's not perfect, but close.
It loads great to the SV-HD800 and doesn't change sat settings or stored favorites-just gives them a full name

Why do want to put a channel list in your receiver?
You take a big chance of installing somebody else corrupt file into your receiver.

The best thing to do is to make sure that you have a good quality and strong signal. Then do your own scan. You can always save that channel list if you want. On a Linear bird just do a blind scan.

Another thing about using somebody else list is that there is no guarantee that you'll even be able to pick up their channels.

thought it would be easier.well now I know.
I actually loaded the csv channel names file and its working fine... you think it could be bad in the long run or should I just leave it on???
